How to Perform a Self-Examination
Early detection of testicular cancer can save your life.
It’s all about being aware and checking in with yourself—literally. Follow these steps to stay in control of your health.
🕙 Best Time: During a shower when you’re relaxed.
👐 Use both hands – Hold one testicle at a time between your thumbs and fingers.
Gently roll the testicle between your fingers, feeling for any hard lumps or bumps.
Make a mental note of any changes in size, shape, or feel. (Don’t worry, one testicle is usually slightly bigger than the other!)
Ask questions – Testicles also contain blood vessels that might feel strange at first. If you’re unsure, talk to your doctor!
